Deanna Templeton

Los Angeles-based artist Ashley Macomber, exhibits her exquisitely rendered animals. Her animals are ‘ghosts that live among us,creatures with no voice.’ The images haunt intertwined as they form a lush metaphorical tapestry brimming with pastoral imagery that alludes to a time forever gone, that may have never been. Macomber’s paintings are sensitive to animal’s tortures and their environmental restrictions as they endure and magically transcend. Ashley’s art has recently been on the covers of Flaunt and Loyal Magazines.
Orange County photographer Deanna Templeton shows her photo-documentational photography of Skateboarders, her personal life, travels, friends and family. Deanna recently showed her art at Etnies showroom in NYC and was featured in the Skate Culture: The Art of Sakateboarding at The Contempary Art Center of Virginia. Her photos were featured recently in Transworld and Anthem Magazines.
Lives in San Francisco. Christopher Garrett first showed his art at New Image Art as part of the “San Francisco Drawing Show” curated by Chris Johanson and Alicia McCarthy. His quirky and humorous drawings usually done in pencil are humorous and profound. Garrett was featured in the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts “Surf Show” where he exhibited his couch surfing drawings.

LTTR is a vital presence in the independent media landscape. With issue #3 currently in production, this elaborately crafted zine cum art journal serves as an open forum for the discussion and presentation of ideas and artwork concerning queer genders and identities. At times collaborative, personal, political and tangential, with a diverse feminist agenda, this affordable and accessible vehicle is strengthening networks between communities and across disciplines. We have curated a selection of artists
from the first two issues, as well as the LTTR community at large, to create a focused view of the much larger picture which is LTTR.
Klein was co-founder and co-curator of scene/escena and curator and events coordinator at SPACE in San Francisco. He has also curated exhibitions for Blue Books and postandbeam in San Francisco, Urban Egyptian in Los Angeles, Helen Pitt in Vancouver, BC and Schreiner 5 in Berlin, Germany. A visual artist and independent publisher, he has shown and distributed his work internationally.
Roysdon is one third of the LTTR editorial team with collaborators k8 Hardy and Ginger Brooks Takahashi. A graduate of Hampshire College and the Whitney Museum
Independent Study Program, Roysdon recently moved to Los Angeles from NYC to attend UCLA's interdisciplinary MFA. She has participated in exhibitions at MIT List Visual Art Center, The Lab in San Francisco, Contemporary Art Center in Vilnius Lithuania and Space 1026 in Philly.
